A few months ago, Disney announced that they are developing Story of the toy 5, an unexpected sequel to the franchise. After the third film, fans were shocked to learn that the fourth film had been made, as the third film seemed to conclude the story that started with History of the toy in 1995. But the fourth film was great, a huge box office success, and opened the story to new adventures in the world of toys, which live on, with and without owners.
The fourth film ended with our favorite toys Buzz and Woody going their separate ways. So this has got fans wondering what exactly the next movie will be about. But I’m pleased to report that the Pixar director and History of the toy writer and producer Peter Docter confirmed two of the characters we will see in the next film. In a recent interview with Variety, Docter talked about all the things the studio is working on, and succinctly said, “We have another History of the toy, so Woody and Buzz are back. He didn’t elaborate, but that’s great news!
The only other information Docter has revealed about the film came in a previous interview with The casing,, saying: “I think it will be amazing. It has some really cool stuff you’ve never seen before.
So that’s all we know, but knowing that Buzz and Woody will both be back is guarantee enough to know that this will most likely be another History of the toy hit!
