Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is phenomenal on the action front, especially in the first hour.
Hayley Atwell steals every scene. The villain, cliffhanger and runtime didn’t blow me away, but the rest of it is incredibly entertaining and brilliantly filmed. It’s solid. pic.twitter.com/z4Im8S0oQc

#Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 is great.
Dynamite, timely story. Great new characters. Huge variety of action and a final set that ranks top 2-3 all time for the franchise.
It gets a little thick at times, but its pace and intensity are more than enough. pic.twitter.com/prm2wa6ZD6

#MissionImpossibleDeadReckoning this phenomenal! Hayley Atwell steals every scene she’s in. This hour is my favorite #mission Impossible movie. With the AI being the bad guy, this feels like a cautionary tale. The action made my heart rate increase. That train scene is mind blowing! pic.twitter.com/raHLqTwqEO

#Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is another winner for the franchise. Again, the production value is THROUGH THE ROOF with some of the most well defined and exhilarating set design photographed in ways that really make you feel like you are in the middle of… pic.twitter.com/yAX0eJ1t1t

#Mission Impossible DEAD RECKONING PART 1: Tom Cruise hates streaming so much that he made an algorithm the bad guy. And bless his crazy ass, b/c this is a gargantuan sized show, one perfect set after another, close to FALLOUT excellence. Henry Czerny fans will go crazy pic.twitter.com/Gj7fYdAr8I

There is a car chase scene #MissionImpossibleDeadReckoning that brought me so much joy, reinvigorated my love for the summer blockbuster. The craftsmanship of this franchise is unmatched. The final train sequence is also amazing – I caught myself leaning out of my seat.

#MissionImpossibleDeadReckoning it’s the best movie of the year! @Tom Cruise did it again! Jaw-dropping action, high stakes and a heart-pounding third act that will keep you on the edge of your seat! #Tom Cruise it’s better than ever, and #HayleyAtwell it’s incredible! pic.twitter.com/eBFwKmJG2M

I had a great time watching #Mission Impossible – an impeccably made action film that never ceases to entertain. Each action sequence is long, crazy and intense. The story is big and sprawling, but I like how it felt complete and left you dying for what comes next pic.twitter.com/iNaKlDMH8l

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – DEAD RECKONING PART ONE works as Christopher McQuarrie’s ambitious examination/meditation on artificial intelligence and the perilous path we may be walking. (He doesn’t like it) With the intrinsic nature of being “part one” (he’s been saying that a lot lately), not as satisfying as FALLOUT

After the madness of the last movies, #MissionImpossibile7 he has a huge amount to live up to, but one thing I’ll say now in quick reaction format: he does the best job so far of the recent “part 1 of 2!!” features in feeling like a film of its own as it prepares for the next half.
