The flan recipe, as easy as it is good
The ingredients of the quick and easy flan recipe
For this recipe you will need:
- Shortcrust pastry (you can make it yourself or buy it ready-made if you are lazy)
- 90 g of corn starch
- 150 g of granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- A vanilla pod (or even a tablespoon of vanilla extract is fine)
- 1 liter of milk
The steps of the easy and quick flan recipe
Already put your oven to preheat to 200°C. In a saucepan, do boil the milk and vanilla (cut lengthwise) together. Meanwhile, in another pan, not on the stove, mix the cornstarch and sugar and add the eggs. Stir, stir, stir and add the hot milk (removing the vanilla pod first).
Light the fire (sorry if I put you on Johnny’s head, but it’s for a good cause) e cook all the preparation over low heat for one or two minutes, without ever ceasing to stir.
In a round dish, roll out your doughand prick the bottom with a fork. Pour your preparation and presto, in the oven for 30-40 minutes.
Let it cool well and presto, it goes straight down your throat!
