As allegations of child abuse, sexual assault and rape against him multiplied in January, Percy Hynes White had retreated into silence. Six months later, the actor posted a message claiming he was “the victim of a disinformation campaign,” without ever explicitly mentioning these allegations.

After months of silence, Percy Hynes White posted a story in one on his Instagram account. Complaint “a disinformation campaign” against him. However, the actor never mentions the specific statements to which it refersnever mentioning the terms of abuse, assault or rape:

“Earlier this year, someone I’ve never met launched a disinformation campaign about me online. Because of this, my family was robbed and my friends received death threats.

Using a rhetoric of conspiracythe actor looks like “a victim”complaining that his reputation had been tarnished by these allegations:
