Disney temporarily halts fire effects worldwide after “Fantasmic!” incident at Disneyland

Disney is taking extra precautions at its theme parks around the world after the Disneyland dragon catches fire fantastic! Saturday night show.

“We are temporarily suspending fire effects similar to Fantasmic at Disneyland Park on select shows and entertainment experiences worldwide as a precautionary measure following the Fantasmic gag fire at Disneyland Park. The continued safety of our cast and guests is of the utmost importance,” Disneyland officials said meeting in an opinion.

The temporary suspension of fire effects does not include night fireworks. At the time of this post, Disneyland fantastic! scheduled for their regular weekend shows April 28-30. The show becomes routine.

In a previous report, Disneyland detailed what happened fantastic! without injuries.

“During Fantasmic’s last Saturday night performance at Disneyland Park, the dragon prop caught fire. Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded quickly and the fire was extinguished. All cast members have been safely evacuated from Tom Sawyer Island. Due to smoke and wind, attractions near the island were safely evacuated by all guests and the cause of the fire is still being investigated,” the statement said.

In the show, Mickey Mouse battles Disney villains, including Maleficent in dragon form. Videos of Saturday night’s incident have gone viral on social media, showing the dragon’s head catching fire as parkgoers panic.
