Shannen Doherty and her boyfriend Kurt Isvarienko broke up in January. Fans hoped until the end that the spouses would be able to discuss misunderstandings and save the marriage. But unfortunately this did not happen. TMZ reports that the Charmed star has filed for divorce.
“This was the last thing Shannen wanted. Unfortunately she felt she had no other choice,” the actress’s manager shared with the broadcast. According to sources close to the couple, Shannen’s “health is not very good” and the breakup is very painful. Complicates the situation even more. But apparently the star had no other choice.
As we wrote earlier, the Charmed star has been battling stage 4 breast cancer for several years. The actor was first diagnosed with a tumor in 2015. He then underwent a course of chemotherapy and after two years of treatment the disease entered the remission (weakening) phase. But in February 2020, the cancer returned again. Still, Shannen continues to fight for her life and has even returned to work.
Recall that the marriage with Kurt was the third for Shannen. He was married to actress Ashley Hamilton from 1993 to 1994 and lived with Rick Salomon from 2002 to 2003. In 2011, Doherty swore her love for Kurt.
