The news, regarding the hypothetical reboot of vampire films that shine in the sun, comes out with a dropper. Second The Hollywood ReporterLionsgate Television, which controls the rights to the franchise, would like to revive Stephenie Meyer’s books in the form of a series, then destined for a streaming platform, even if the name of the latter has not yet been revealed.
The Mormon author of the best-selling books is expected to be involved in this new adaptation, while the casting and scenario variations, which could be under the control of Sinead Daly (Tell Me Lies, The Walking Dead: World Beyond) are still fully strangers.
Will we be able to see a Twilight 2.0, which does not celebrate toxic relationships and male violence? There is little hope, but let’s give them a chance.
