Harry Potter about to return to the series on HBO Max: which role for JK Rowling?

One season per book

Warner Bros, owner of HBO, seems increasingly determined to dominate the world of (excellent) series, having conquered everyone with masterpieces game of Thrones OR The Last of Us, to cite just two examples. Warner CEO David Zaslav and HBO CEO Casey Bloys are closing a deal to turn the Harry Potter books into a series, according to the outlet Bloomberg.

According to news sources, each book would be adapted into a full season. The series would then count 7 seasons (second Bloombergthe game Harry Potter and the Cursed Child would not fit.)
