EXCLUSIVE: Indie film distributor Good Deed Entertainment today announced the launch of its new production division, led by head of production and development, Phil Garrett.
Garrett will report to Andy Myers, Good Deed’s executive vice president of production and distribution, who told Deadline that the company’s newcomer “has an incredible passion for the type of indie cinema that drives GDE: the offbeat, the breathtaking , the movies that last. ” with you. Good Deed’s production arm will strengthen film production in Ohio, where the company has been based since leaving Los Angeles in 2019, and allow filmmakers to take advantage of state infrastructure, including film tax credits, production services, financing and distribution of tax credits.
