Underscore Talent Adds Nick Jacklin as Partner and Head of Business Development

Underscore Talent, which appointed former Studio71 CEO Nick Jacqueline to the newly created position as Head of Partner and Business Development. The announcement was made by the company’s co-founders and partners Reza Izad and Dan Weinstein.

Jacqueline has more than a decade of experience working with leading companies such as The Walt Disney Company, Studio71 and Maker Studios. He uses his experience to assist Underscore Talent’s cross-platform growth strategy and manage a large team of partners, including YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram. In her new role, Jacqueline oversees the company’s cross-platform partnerships and launches new development initiatives on the list of content creators, including product development in Web 3.0 and eCommerce.

“Nick’s strategic vision and operational skills are aligned with our vision for the company and our customers,” Izad said.

Prior to joining Underscore Talent, Jacqueline was EVP and Director of Business Development at Studio71. During her tenure, Jacqueline led the global multiplatform business development and distribution efforts and oversaw the company’s transformation from a YouTube-only omnichannel model to a profitable business specializing in multiplatform content distribution and in-house production. Jacqueline’s achievements at Studio71 include developing and implementing strategies to monitor 10x revenue streams for the company on Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram to expand the company’s talent pool and roles.

Jacqueline made some of Studio71’s first developer deals for TikTok, resulting in more than 50 developers joining TikTok and producing original vertical videos, including Callen Schaub. During her tenure, Jacqueline Launched in 2018, the company’s first podcast partnership deal has launched more than a dozen audio companies for top talent like Colin Nicholson, Nick Limo, and Britney Furlan.

Launched in 2021, Underscore Talent is a leading content creator in over 200 industries. The company’s staff includes Vlad & Niki (more than 248 million followers worldwide); Labrant family (85 million followers); TikTok Phenomenon CelinaSpookyBoo (25M+ followers); popular Twitch/TikTok star Winnie the Pooh (over 20 million followers); YouTube joker Roman Atwood (over 23 million followers); And kitchen content creators like Mike Greenfield professional home cooks; And multimedia star Jocelyn Delk Adams grandma cakes.

In addition to Underscore’s talent management division, the company offers its clients a wide range of services, including content development, production and distribution, and e-commerce. The newly created gaming section is dedicated to esports and includes gaming stars Scump, CodeMiko, Aydan and H3CZ.
