EXCLUSIVE: As Deadline reported earlier this week, United Talent Agency has laid off many departments.
While most of the cuts are believed to affect administrative/support staff, 2-3 agents per department will be affected, Deadline sources say. UTA declined to comment, but the list reportedly includes talent agents Steven Bombino and Kaitlyn Flynn, and relief agents Megan Spanjian and Connor Morgan.
The total layoffs will be in the low single digit percentage of the company’s total workforce.
“We’ve grown tremendously over the past few years, so we’ve decided to make some adjustments,” a UTA spokesperson told Deadline in a statement when we broke the news of the layoffs. “Unfortunately, we say goodbye to a small number of colleagues and are grateful for everything they have contributed.”
