The Avatar Experience is coming to Disneyland

Disney boss Bob Iger said a new attraction will be based on the avatar Franchise comes shortly after Disneyland.

He’s dubbed it the Avatar experience and said details will be available “soon” — he’s not divulging anything.

But he noted that Avatar is now a core franchise for the company “that has an opportunity to leverage success” across all businesses and territories.

James Cameron Avatar: The Way of Water grossed over $2 billion internationally. It was the best release of 2022 and one of the highest grossing films of all time. Avatar 3, 4 And 5 are on the way and are currently scheduled for release on December 20, 2024, December 18, 2026, and December 22, 2028 respectively.

The original avatar premiered in 2009.
