Trying is torture: Gigi Hadid shares a photo of one of her worst photos

Unlike her younger sister Bella, who has actively popularized 2000s fashion in recent seasons and found layered combinations marked “super”, Gigi voted a dollar for timeless simplicity and tackled the task with a solid five. In general, laconic minimalism at its best. Even the same multi-layered images of the model can be applied correctly – and by the way, this is already an asterisked task.

But the other day, Gigi shared a photo of her Paris outfit from a year ago, making it clear that it happens even to those responsible for developing fashion and branded techniques for “you”.

The main pitfall of layering is not to turn into a multi-colored onion. It was the latter that happened to the former, but it was not a good outfit of the model at all. Gigi opted for a western that transforms into a trucker, if not her best style: a nude oversized waistcoat framing a dark single-button top shirt in a tough fabric, and a brightly printed turtleneck. The image is complemented by a baseball cap with bright lettering, a black shoulder bag, straight leather pants and boots.

On the one hand, the palette of clothes is correctly formed – different shades of brown and intersecting colors are mandatory on the baseball cap and turtleneck. On the other hand, there is a clear excess of textures in the image – the waterproof fabric of a vest in an oversized silhouette, a coarse shirt and “plain” leather.

It wasn’t a great game with different materials – there was a clear feeling that Gigi was getting the first thing that caught her eye. Moreover, the overall picture could be saved with a slight movement of the hand – button the shirt all the way down and just reinforce the perception with similar tones on the baseball cap and turtleneck. Summary: the lost outfit is automatically sent to the “this is not necessary” category. And yes, it would be better if it remained lost.
