Dorothy Canton becomes executive producer at Atmosphere Entertainment

EXCLUSIVE: Dorothy Canton has been named President of Production at Atmosphere Entertainment, sharing that role with Chairman and CEO Mark Canton and COO Mark Frazier.

After being promoted to her position as Development Manager, Dorothy will continue to develop new projects for the company while overseeing the existing slate of over 50 projects in various stages of development for film and television.

“Dorothy has been instrumental in the success and growth of Atmosphere over the past eight years,” Mark Canton told Deadline. “I look forward to our future together as we continue to create quality content that will stand the test of time.”

As Executive Producer, Dorothy recently wrapped production on the reboot of the cult horror classic The strangers also for Lionsgate Red Sonya for Millennium Films with Mark Wahlberg Arthur the king, among other projects.
