“Adult” star Trevor Jackson signs with APA

EXCLUSIVE: Trevor Jackson, best known for his role as Aaron Jackson, stars alongside Yara Shahidi on Freeform Adult, signed a representation contract with the APA.

Jackson’s character Aaron Jackson was introduced as a recurring guest star on the Mothership ABC series Blackness. He was at the spinoff Adult since launch. The series is now in its fifth season and has been renewed for season 6.

The aspiring actor previously starred in Sony Pictures’ remake of the 1972 cult classic Blaxploitation. Big fly with the late Michael K. Williams.

Jackson is also an accomplished musician and is set to headline a 26-state tour with fellow APA client Eric Bellinger. “Obsession Tour“ starting February 2nd in Seattle and ending April 1st in Las Vegas. Jackson will be supporting his latest EP Show Me Diamonds.

Jackson’s career began with a three-year run as Young Simba on Disney’s Tony Award-winning Broadway National Tour The lion king. In 2016, Jackson landed a regular role in the second season of John Ridley’s Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated drama series. american crime, with Regina King and Andre Benjamin. The following year he starred in Zurich Condoll on Netflix Burning sand, along with Trevante Rhodes and Alfred Woodard. The film had its world premiere at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

As a musical artist, Jackson has published Rough Design Pt. 1 in 2018 and Rough Design Pt. 2 inside 2019, including the hit single, “now.” Following Rough drafts Pt.1 & 2Jackson embarked on the sold-out five-city RD2 tour.

Jackson joins APA from CAA and joins recently signed APA colleagues William H. Macy, Donnie Yen, Maria Bello, Regina Hall, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ken Jeong, Mark Maron, Michael Rainey Jr. and Russell Hornsby and Michael Cera, among others.
