The 28th Critics’ Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles last night and has become a special place for stars – the event featured attention-grabbing Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, Cate Blanchett, Anya-Taylor Joy and more. Sadly, we didn’t remember any of the celebrities with a kind word for a few hours after the event ended – the theory about the end of the red carpet era works with might. The only exception was the outfit of Julia Garner, the star of the series “Inventing Anna”. True, not in the context of the kindest word.

The actress’ choice fell on a bright red mini dress with translucent details from Salvatore Ferragamo and an asymmetrical tail, accompanied by open shoes with matching heels. Cherry – A pear-shaped emerald and diamond necklace, as well as ruby earrings from the Bulgari collection Serpenti. And the obvious fact of the complete discrepancy between the jewelry and the overall picture of the image is just the tip of the iceberg.

The choice of a dress with a straight silhouette turned Julia into a square – the bright red color of the outfit only fueled the fire. Also, the outfit emphasized the actress’s short stature of 165 centimeters, the same thing happened with the volume in the legs. Such silhouettes of Julia are simply contraindicated: highlights on the waist and long dresses in the floor are her everything. Therefore, we boldly convey fiery greetings to the actor’s stylist. Or did the latter deliberately decide to give us an example with an “anti” sign so that the red carpet of the award is remembered at least once? It remains only to guess.
