Pamela Brown has been named CNN’s chief investigative correspondent and anchor

Pamela Brown has a new role at the network as senior investigative correspondent, joining the network’s investigative team following the death of Drew Griffin last month.

She will also continue to serve as a CNN anchor and fill in for the network.

Brown hosted the primetime edition of CNN Newsroom over the weekend and was part of the network’s voting integrity team. She also served as a senior correspondent in Washington, covering news on the January 6 Criminal Referral Commission plans and the initial fulfillment of a commission-issued subpoena by former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

Brown previously served as a senior White House correspondent on the Donald Trump administration, including special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 election. She also served as a legal correspondent, covering the San Bernardino terrorist attack, the Charlie Hebdo attack in France. and the Germanwings suicide plane crash in Germany.

Brown joined the network in 2013.
