It was Indochine who got the ball rolling. While Nicola Sirkis’ group has planned a tour of the festival for the summer of 2023, one date posed a problem: Indochine will play Les Déferlantes, an event long based in Argelès-sur-Mer in the Pyrénées-Orientales, then in Céret , and that this year he was transferred to another city.
This is Perpignan which was announced this weekend as a new location for the festival. A decision that immediately made Indochina react. The group does not hesitate: if Les Déferlantes remain in the city led since 2020 by Louis Alliot, vice president of the National Gathering, they will not play.
