When we talk about convenience, we mean that this recipe can be made by anyone (regardless of age). The most important are the “1, 2, and 3” measures applied to components arranged alphabetically. For this reason, we will put the contents of a glass of yogurt in a bowl with three eggs, one measure of sunflower oil and two measures of sugar. After we have a mixture, we whisk it well.

On the other hand, we will mix the flour (total of 3 measures of the yogurt cup) with the yeast and mix so that the mixture is evenly distributed. With some sticks we will gradually incorporate the flour into the bowl with the other ingredients. This way – as it is mixed – a dough will form as you whisk and add more flour. If we want the cake to have a touch of citrus, it’s time to add the lemon zest.
We will preheat the oven to 180ºC for about ten minutes and grease the cake tin. After this step is ready, we will pour the dough into our mold and leave it to bake for (approximately) 35 minutes without opening the oven door. It is important not to open the oven beforehand so that the temperature inside the oven does not drop and the cake does not fall.

After about 30 minutes, we will quickly turn it on to confirm the cooking point (by inserting a wooden skewer into the dough to check if it comes out clean or dirty). If it comes out clean, the cake is ready; If it turns out to be dirty on the contrary, we will wait another five minutes and then turn off the oven.

What to serve with easy yoghurt cake
This yoghurt cake recipe is delicious without the need to add anything else, but we can always elevate the result by comparing it to a dessert from the bakery. Therefore, we can fill it with a nice jam or top it with pastry cream (or whipped cream, if you prefer). It also goes very well with a glass of cold milk, latte or iced tea.
