American sci-fi horror series From has broadcast four seasons on HBO Max, with its upcoming fifth season set to conclude the show in 2027.
Premiered in Spain in September 2022, the series features four completed seasons consisting of 10 episodes each, with runtimes ranging between 45 and 60 minutes.
Producers confirmed that the fifth season will be the final instalment for the thriller series, which is available on Warner Bros. Discovery's HBO Max streaming service.

Nightmare town premise and plot details
Set in a nightmare town in the United States, the series follows forced residents trapped inside a mystery settlement where arriving is easy, but finding a way out is practically impossible.
Trapped inhabitants must obey strict rules to survive nights threatened by terrifying nocturnal creatures emerging from the surrounding forest, while searching for hidden secrets inside and outside the town to find an exit.
The narrative centers on Boyd Stevens, the self-proclaimed sheriff and mayor of the town, alongside the newly arrived Matthews family, who discover they are trapped and must work together with existing residents to stay alive and escape.
Creative team and Lost connections
Created by John Griffin, the science fiction thriller shares key creative team members and cast with the hit American drama series Lost, which aired on ABC from 2004 to 2010.
Executive producer Jack Bender, who served as a key director on iconic episodes of Lost, leads production on From alongside other executive producers from the former show.
Lost concluded its original broadcast run with an ending that pleased many followers while disappointing others, sharing similarities in central plot mysteries and storytelling structure with From.
Cast members and character roles
Harold Perrineau, who previously portrayed Michael Dawson in Lost, stars as self-proclaimed sheriff and mayor Boyd Stevens.
Catalina Sandino Moreno and Eion Bailey portray newcomers Tabitha and Jim Matthews, starring alongside David Alpay as Jade Herrera, a wealthy software developer who arrives in the town on the same day as the Matthews family.
Elizabeth Saunders stars as Donna Raines, leader of Colony House residents who live separated from the town, while Scott McCord plays Victor Kavanaugh, a peculiar Colony House resident trapped since childhood.
Ricky He appears as Kenny Liu, Boyd's deputy and right-hand man, who lives in the town with his elderly parents.
Audience reception and review scores
The series has received strong audience ratings across four major review aggregator platforms since its Spanish debut, securing a 76 percent favorable score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The production also holds an average score of 6.8 out of 10 on Metacritic, a 6.7 out of 10 average on FilmAffinity, and a 7.8 out of 10 score on IMDb.
Review aggregators such as Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, FilmAffinity, and IMDb collect critic evaluations and public scores to track audience sentiment for film and television releases.
