‘Avatar: The Sense of Water’ is finally in theaters. The sequel to the highest-grossing film of all time came out 13 years after the original and is conquering theaters all over the world, including Spain, where it achieved its best premiere since the start of the pandemic. “Avatar: The Meaning of Water” is set approximately 15 years after the events of the first film and follows Jake (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) as parents of five, on the run from enemies who threaten to destroy the their family. In addition to the return of the lead pair, Stephen Lang as the villain Colonel Quaritch, and Sigourney Weaver as a new character, the teenage Na’vi Kiri, the sequel features new faces on Pandora, both Na’vi and human.
