‘Avatar 2’ is the most expensive movie ever

After various speculations about the true budget of ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’, it has been officially confirmed that James Cameron’s film with Zoe Saldana has become the most expensive film in the entire history of cinema. Disney has reportedly budgeted more than $460 million, according to Deadline, which would place it as the highest-budget film.

To put that into perspective, that’s way more than movies like ‘Avengers: Endgame’ at $356 million, or ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Sailing in Strange Waters’, which held the record at $379 million. However, this can play out in different ways, as James Cameron himself has confirmed that his film should be included in the 4 highest-grossing films of all time.

Some have predicted that if ‘Avatar 2’ turns out to be a flop, it could be a major blow not only to Disney, but to the film industry at large, as it would confirm how little hope the general public has for movie theaters. traditional, and I would opt for the digital format.
