I have here an interesting video to watch from Rhetty for History, which collects and offers details on the most popular Christmas toys introduced in the 60s and 70s. The toy list includes LEGO, Etch-a-Sketch, Lite-Brite, Pet Rocks, Hot Wheels, skateboards, GI Joe, NERF, Stretch Armstrong, Atari, Star Wars action figures and more.
It’s pretty interesting to see how many of these brands have thrived over the years. The video came with the following note:
The holiday season is usually when we reflect on the year and think about all that we have experienced. It is also a time when we look back on our childhood and remember that magical time of Christmas and the special gifts we received
What are some of your favorite toys mentioned in the video?
