A new trailer and poster for the art dramedy have been released revealingstarring an Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning actress Michael Williams (The greatest showman, Manchester by the sea, The Fabelmans). She is joined in the cast by Hong Chau, Maryan Plunkett, John Magaro, Andre Benjamin, James Le GrosAnd Judd Hirsch.
revealing is directed by the beloved American independent filmmaker Kelly Reichardt (River of Grass, First cow), from a screenplay written by Jonathan Raymond And Kelly Reichardt.
Here is the synopsis:
A sculptor (Michelle Williams) preparing to open a new exhibition must balance her creative life with the daily dramas of family and friends, in Kelly Reichardt’s vibrant and captivating portrait of art and craft.
It looks decent, with a good cast, but feels a bit slow. However, I’d be willing to try based on Michelle Williams and Judd Hirsch. Check out the trailer and poster below and see revealing in select US theaters on April 5, 2023.
