’65’ preview: Adam Driver directs sci-fi thriller from ‘A Quiet Place’ writers Scott Beck & Bryan Woods and producer Sam Raimi

Sony’s Columbia Pictures has unveiled the trailer for the sci-fi thriller 65with two-time Oscar nominee Adam Driver (white noise), Ariana Greenblatt (in the heights) and Chloe Coleman (Avatar: The Way of Water), scheduled for release on March 10, 2023.

The synopsis for the film, written and directed by A quiet place Authors Scott Beck & Bryan Woods read: After a catastrophic crash on an unknown planet, pilot Mills (driver) soon discovers that he was in fact stranded on Earth 65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills and the only other survivor, Koa (Greenblatt), must navigate an uncharted territory teeming with dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic battle for survival.

Beck and Woods are set to produce, along with Sam Raimi, Deborah Liebling and Zainab Azizi. The executive producers are Doug Merrifield, Jason Cloth and Aaron L. Gilbert.

65 The psychological thriller Focus Features is planned as a prelude Within with Willem Dafoe, Paramount Pictures’ shout 6 and Guy Nattiv’s Helen Mirren protagonist Gouda cheese. The next release from Columbia Pictures is the drama directed by Tom Hanks A man named Otto Directed by Marc Forster, it opens December 30th in New York and Los Angeles, with plans for an extended limited release on January 6th and a national film adaptation on January 13th.
