Sideshow has shared unboxing videos for Hot Toys’ new Batman and Robin collectible figures. Inspired by the 1995 blockbuster movie Batman forevereach figure looks great and is packed with detail.
Batman features a hand-painted, true-to-screen helmeted head sculpt with new rotating eyeballs feature so he can watch over all of Gotham. He is dressed in a sonar suit with utility belt, cap, a sonic batarang, batarang launcher, underwater thruster, bat gripper launcher and a pair of bat sonar lenses. The base also features the movie logo.
Robin also has an accurate, hand painted head sculpt. Her shimmering metallic red and green gown comes with a lined, wired cape for all your posing needs. He also comes with a variety of interchangeable gloved hands and a specially painted figure base. Not listed as features but still included are Robin nipples and screen accurate bulge.
I’ve been giving Hot Toys a bit of a run for its money lately with some of the collectibles they’ve recently introduced, but I have to say they knocked it out of the park with these two. I had to look for a picture of Batman and Robin from Batman forever to make sure I remember the costumes right, and my goodness these figures are perfect. Check out the videos below, and if you like them you can still pre-order Batman for $255 and Robin for $245 from Sideshow now.
