While being a rock star is a full-time job, touring is hard work. So it’s no surprise that even music’s biggest stars eventually decide to retire from the stage.
That doesn’t mean these A-listers walk away with a whimper. In fact, the stars make sure their farewell tours are the biggest shows in the world.
Fans have come from all over to see Elton John’s house last US tour, seen here at Madison Square Garden in February 2022. Played his last show on November 20, 2022 and returned to Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles for an unforgettable show.

KISS

Kiss of death! After decades of rocking out, KISS decided it was time for their final tour of 2019…and it has been an ongoing project. This year they continued to play on their End Of The Road farewell tour.
Making sure to get excited, frontman Gene Simmons announced the group would have to play 100 more dates before taking their final bow, during an interview in June 2022. yankee dad L’ultima Vuelta (The Last Round) The world tour may be their last concert, but the party won’t stop until the end. The 89-date show kicked off in Spain on July 16, 2022 and officially ends on January 8, 2023 in his native Puerto Rico. The hitmaker of “Gasolina” is here at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on September 4, 2022.

Anglo-American arena rockers Foreigner have announced their farewell tour on November 14, 2022. The “Cold As Ice” singers will officially hit the road in 2023 with the tour set to wrap up in 2024.
Guitarist Mick Jones explained why they decided board🇧🇷 “Foreigner is a completely reinvigorated band with a whole new energy that has captured the hearts of our fans around the world, and I want to leave while the band is still at the top of their game,” said the 77-year-old singer . . said the rocker. “I had the idea of becoming a foreigner in 1974 and I was 30 at the time. By the end of our farewell tour, it will have been more than 50 years, and that’s a long time to be on the road.”

The Judges

The Judds last lap it was announced in April 2022, but tragically it never happened. A few weeks after the tour was announced, mother Naomi Judd took her own life. While the farewell tour couldn’t take place, there were some special tributes to Naomi. Wynnona (right) and Ashley McBride joined in Love is alive, the final concert in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on November 3, 2022.
The Judds were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in May 2022. Wynonna says she will tour under the Judds banner to continue her mother’s legacy.
Wisin and Yandel

Reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel announced the last mission tour in March 2022, along with news of a latest album. The ‘Vapor’ singers are seen here in May 2022.

Post-punk beats The B-52 announced the band’s retirement in April 2022. The successful producers of “Love Shack” were backed by 70s chart leaders KC and the Sunshine Band.
