Discovery, would not be happy with the terms of the licensing agreements they have with Netflix and would have ordered the sales of the rights to be temporarily suspended. Apparently the problem would come from the fact that it is the platform’s policy to pay beyond 18/24 months, a condition not exactly new, but which, if changed, could help with the Warner crisis that has led the company to so many cancellations and restructurings.
