Kojima Productions has released the first trailer for Hideo Kojima’S Death Stranding 2, which he’s been teasing cryptically for months. The trailer is over four minutes long and Death Stranding 2 it’s just the working title.
The announced cast for the sequel so far includes Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Elle Fanning, Shioli KutsunaAnd Slutty Baker. Nothing has been revealed regarding the story, but the tone and visual style are in line with the first game. It looks like an amazing game that will raise the bar.
Kojima didn’t give any details about the game, but did say there’s a lot to look out for and talk about in the trailer. Asked for more information at The Game Awards, Kojima shared that he wrote the story for the sequel before the pandemic, but ended up rewriting it “from scratch” due to the pandemic. Kojima jokingly said that he “didn’t want to tell the future,” which is why he rewrote it.
There’s not even a release date to share, but the game will release on PS5.
