Trinity Creative has released the trailer for the upcoming dark comedy film deciphered, which tells a funny and bizarre story set in the world of cryptocurrencies. The film is said to be “taking the cryptocurrency community by storm” and follows a mismatched NSA team who kidnap the creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, so they can destroy cryptocurrencies.
Sounds like it could be a fun movie to watch! Here is the synopsis of the film:
A mismatched NSA team kidnaps the creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, and attempts to torture him to get the information he needs to destroy cryptocurrencies. The botched interrogation combines a homophobic field agent, a feminist technical adviser, a transgender asylum seeker, a crypto-anarchist, a racist Brexiteer and an inclusive MI5 agent. Sparks fly when their respective prejudices collide. When they all succumb to a drug of truth, their newfound honesty has tumultuous consequences.
The film comes from the director Tom Sands (Backtrack, The Holly Kane Experiment, Rupert Rupert & RupertAnd False witness), and recites Talisa Garcia, Sophia Myles, David Hoflin, Amanda Abbington, Kevin McNally, Clive Francis, Aki Kotabe, Don GiletAnd Sophia Barker.
The film was released in the UK last year, but Trinity Creative just came out deciphered in the US direct-to-VOD – and it’s available to watch now.
