James Cameron says AVATAR 4 is so ‘crazy’ that the only notes he got from the studio were ‘Holy F**k’

If the next two Avatars movies end up being box office hits, director James Cameron will make at least two more films in the series! The reactions that come from the critics for Avatar: The Way of Water they have been very positive and promising. But it seems that when we get to Avatars 4things will go to a whole new level of ambition madness.

In a recent interview, Cameron shared the notes he received from 20th Century Studios after handing in the script Avatars 4, and the response he got was “Holy F**k”. In a recent interview with Collider the director shared:

“I can’t tell you the details, but all I can say is that when I turned in the script for 2, the studio gave me three pages of notes, and when I turned in the script for 3, they gave me a page of notes, so i was getting better.When i turned in the script for 4, the studio exec, the creative exec of the movies wrote me an email saying, ‘Holy f-ck.’And i said, ‘Well, where are the Note?’ And she said, ‘These are the notes.’ Because he kind of goes crazy, right?”

I love it, and now I really hope we get to see what Cameron is planning Avatars 4! Judging by that reaction, it looks like it’s going to take the franchise to new heights.

Cameron went on to discuss how Peter Jackson and his work on The Lord of the Rings the trilogy influenced him in developing these Avatars sequel. He explained:

“My role model was what Peter Jackson did with Lord of the Rings, which was a wild bet in its day. And hats off to them, that they jumped at the chance to pitch all three of those movies. But he had the books plotted, so it could always show the actors what they needed to know about their character arc. So I felt like I had to do the same thing. I had to interpret this as if the books already existed. So the only way for us to do that was write all the scripts and let the actors read all the scripts and see where their characters were going and what they meant Not that it’s playable at the moment but I think it’s something the actors could work into in their preparation for their characters”.

The film is set more than a decade after the events of the first film,”Avatar: The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their children), the troubles that haunt them, how much they do to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to survive and the tragedies they endure.

The film is the protagonist Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stefano LangCliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine ClementAnd Kate Winslet.
