‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’ Announces More Castings, Including ‘The Bridgertons’ Actor

The streamer has announced that eight new actors will join the cast of the series based on the work of JRR Tolkien. New cast members are Oliver Alvin-Wilson (‘The Bay’, ‘Lovesick’), Stuart Bowman (‘The Pact’, ‘Bodyguard’), Gavi Singh Chera (‘The Undeclared War’, ‘The Lazarus Project’) , William Chubb (known prolifically for ‘House of Cards’ or ‘Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell’, recently seen in ‘Sandman’, ‘Vampire Academy’ and ‘Pistol’), Kevin Eldon (who has extensive experience in epic fantasy with roles in “Game of Thrones” or “Shadow and Bone”), Selina Lo (known for “Boss Level” and the new “Hellraiser”) and Calam Lynch (“Benediction”, “Dunkirk”).

Lynch will be well known to “The Bridgertons” fans by then plays Theo Sharpe, a character introduced in the second season of the Netflix hit. Theo is the printer’s apprentice with whom Eloise develops a special bond due to their common concerns and, in the future, something more.
