‘The Last of Us’ has just released its official trailer, a bigger advance than the first teaser trailer in which we could already take a look at the clickers and their post-apocalyptic world. In this new starter we see a little more of said universe inspired by the famous video game, that we can explore on the small screen starting January 16 on HBO Max Spain.

Pedro Pascal (“Game of Thrones” and “The Mandalorian”) and Bella Ramsey (also “Game of Thrones”) star in this adaptation set two decades after the end of today’s society as we know it. The series centers on Joel (Pascal), a survivor/mercenary hired to smuggle a 14-year-old girl named Ellie (Ramsey) out of an “oppressive” quarantine zone.. “What starts as a small job soon turns into a harrowing and brutal journey that both must face” United States devastated by a deadly fungus that transforms humans into terrible creatures. What begins as a job for Joel, trying to save the ‘charge’ that Ellie is for him, will evolve into a bond forged by the need to “depend on each other to survive”according to the official synopsis.
Anna Torv (‘Fringe (To the limit)’), Storm Reid (‘Euphoria’), Nick Offerman (‘Parks and Recreation’), Melanie Lynskey (‘Yellowjackets’), Murray Bartlett (‘The White Lotus’) or Gabriel Luna (“SHIELD Agents”) is also part of the cast of this series co-created by Craig Mazin, who also executive produces with Neil Druckmann, co-president of video game studio Naughty Dog.
