It has been a fantastic year for Spanish cinema in terms of quality. However, we won’t find many of these films in the year’s top grossing charts. Awards season is here to re-value those features and shorts which once again demonstrated our talent for storytelling, with the Goyas, as always, as the great annual event for our cinema.

Complete list of nominations for the Goya Awards 2023

Nora Navas and Blanca Portillo have been asked to read the nominations for the 37th Goya Prize. The Film Academy will present the “cabezones” on February 11, 2023 in a ceremony that will see Clara Lago and Antonio de la Torre as presenters. This time the setting will be the FIBES Congress and Exhibition Center in Seville, aiming once again to bring the great Spanish film festival to other corners of the country. Carlos Saura will be the great awarded as Goya de Honor.
