The 12 days of Christmas Eve follows Brian Conway, a successful businessman whose relationships with those around him have been strained. His relationship with his daughter, Michelle, is strained and he has no significant connection to his only granddaughter. When Brian is in a car accident on Christmas Eve, Santa gives Brian 12 chances to redo the day and mend the relationships in his life by finding the true meaning of Christmas.

Spencer revealed that working with her father was a happy experience. “I think it’s because my dad was a huge influence in my life and he really taught me about the business, and we’ve always been kind of a vaudeville family,” Spencer said. “My mom is a dancer too and she was a Broadway dancer. That’s how my parents met, so acting has always been the easiest place. You leave all your personal stuff at the door, walk in and work. It’s always been a sacred space, so we both treated it that way. It was fun. We had great fun. We work very well together.”

He added: “I think we have a good work ethic and I have honed my craft a lot over the years so it has been a real pleasure to work with him. It was nice to bring out all the other personal stuff that we had and then go in there and play the father-daughter thing, really.”

Spencer admitted that, like Brian and Michelle, she and her dad “fight” sometimes. “I’m the eldest, so I’ve seen it all,” the actress said. “When you’re the firstborn, you set the tone for everyone else in a weird way, and your parents are getting that too. So I think it’s one of the hardest relationships for the kids and also for the parents because both of them are learning about being a family for the first time in a weird way.

OR Greek alum stressed that “the family is complicated for everyone. It was nice that we brought some of that into the story as well, which I think allows people to want to change some of the family dynamics when they watch the movie or realize that it’s a catharsis that it’s okay to struggle with sometimes and ultimately they can forgive each other, get over it, and enjoy the holiday spirit together.

Spencer and Kelsey have already talked about making another film together in the future. “There’s a possibility that I might work on other things with him, and we were talking about making another film like that, but if I’ve learned anything in this job, it’s that there’s a lot of ‘will’ and a lot of ‘not it happened.” It’s definitely a possibility, but then again, you never know. I like to spread positive ideas, but I think we probably will. We really enjoy working together. It was very easy and great. experience doing it again,” Spencer said. hollywood life🇧🇷 The 12 days of Christmas Eve airs November 26 at 8:00 pm on Lifetime.
