For those who were already ready to go see Damien Leone’s horror film, they will have to wait a little longer, as Cinemex and Cinépolis have confirmed that the release date of ‘Terrifier 2’ will be postponed in Mexican cinemas. Sadly, for those who already wanted to see the wild adventure of Art, the Clown to close out the year, it has been changed for another such film.
Because ‘M3GAN’, the story of the doll reminiscent of ‘Annabelle’ and ‘Chucky’, Cinemex and Cinépolis have confirmed this ‘Terrifying 2’ will be delayed in Mexico. In its place, the horror film from Universal, directed by Gerard Johnstone, which will take the original opening day of the film by Damien Leone, which is December 29 this year in theaters.
Now, ‘Terrifying 2’ will arrive on January 12, 2023 in Cinemex and Cinépolis cinemas, but if you can’t wait just over a month for the arrival of the new Art the Clown adventure, you can buy Damien Leone’s film right now in the digital stores of iTunes and Amazon Prime Video, where also find the first part.

‘Terrifier 2’ the most successful horror film of 2022
2022 has been one of the most prolific years for horror films in recent times, where “Smile” remains the top grosser of the past 12 months, surpassing Jordan Peele’s “Nope”. But despite an unexpectedly high gross for Paramount, “Terrifier 2” was the most profitable production in the horror genre.
For now, Damien Leone has confirmed that he is already working on the next installments of his horror saga. The director says that “Terrifier 3” will be divided into two parts, which he promises will be wilder than the previous two. “I’m basically done with the treatment for Part 3, but it’s getting so big that I could potentially split it into a Part 4,” he told Variety.
“I wouldn’t want to do another 2 hour 20 minute tape. So we’ll see,” Leone said. Now, it remains to wait for ‘Terrifier 2’ to hit theaters across the Mexican country on January 12, 2023, to open the year with one of the wildest gore fests on the big screen.
