Roar Uthaug’s fantasy film is about to release on the Netflix streaming platform, ‘Troll’ is an anticipated film full of adventure, action and a lot of mystery that, will revive the legend of Norwegian folklore, and the gigantic creature of Dovre mountain. Protagonists Ine Marie Wilmann and Mads Sjøgård Pettersen, who will show the most feared face of the trolls that once seemed curious and funny to you.
The mountains will move! Netflix announced ‘Trolls’ months ago, its premiere will be next Thursday, December 1 to develop the story which, contrary to what some theories on social networks suggest, is not inspired by real events but deals with aspects of an ancient Norwegian legend. The giant has spent many years asleep in the mountains, but when they are awakened by a group of hikers, he wants revenge.
Deep in the mountain should, a gigantic troll has awakened, he has been trapped for a thousand years, but he has awakened and wants to destroy everything in his path. Thirsty for revenge and hungry for something I don’t know, he wants to end it all and heads for the capital of Norway, apparently with nothing to stop him.

‘Trolls’ will premiere in December on Netflix
According to the official synopsis for “Trolls,” Netflix describes it as: “When an explosion in the Norwegian mountains awakens an ancient troll, authorities appoint a daring paleontologist to stop him from wreaking havoc on the site.” It’s a mix of action, adventure, monsters and suspense in a Norwegian movie for Netflix.
Roar had previously expressed to The Wrap that, ‘Troll’ is undoubtedly a dream come trueI have waited many years to make this film and finally you will be able to see it made its premiere on Netflix on December 1st of 2022, and thanks to motion blur. The director has waited about 20 years to realize this dream, a story that he has developed over about two decades to make it a perfect experience.

The troll that everyone will fear in this film is almost Godzilla-sized, both destroyers and hungry for their own revenge. And although they have nothing to do with each other, they retain some similarities such as the eiga kaiju that we will see present in the mystery of this tape. One features references to 20th-century Japanese culture, while the other features Norwegian culture.
