Neon has released a trailer for a crazy looking horror movie titled Enys Men. The trailer makes the film look like a theatrical version of the 2002 horror movie VHS tape The ring. It just has the same style and maddening visual tone. I’m not entirely sure what’s going on in the trailer, but it looks like an incredibly creepy nightmare.
In the film, “A wildlife volunteer on an uninhabited island off the British coast descends into a terrifying madness that challenges her grip on reality and thrusts her into a living nightmare. Evoking the sensation of discovering a never-before-seen reel of celluloid unfolding in a haunted cinema, this provocative and masterful take on horror establishes Mark Jenkin as one of the UK’s most exciting and unique filmmakers.
Mark Jenkin (Burn Golden, The Rabbit, Merry ChristmasAnd Bait) is the director of the film, and he seems to have made something that will really blow people away! See the trailer for yourself, it’s really quite unnerving.
The film is the protagonist Mary Woodvine and will be released in theaters and on VOD starting in early 2023.
