Amazon has released a trailer for a great and exciting new feature that fans will love The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power behind the scenes of the series. Is called The creation of the rings of power, and shows us what went into the making of this epic fantasy series.
Content is now available exclusively on Prime Video X-Ray with a full screen experience that can be launched at any time while a viewer is watching The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. These episodes of X-Ray can also be accessed by going to the Bonus Content section on the series main page for The Lord of the Rings series on Prime Video.
According to Prime Video, “X-Ray’s behind-the-scenes content invites audiences to take an up-close and personal look at the making of Season 1, allowing fans to discover how the series meticulously brought JRR Tolkien’s Middle-earth to life.” in all its glory. These “making of” pieces, each corresponding to one of the eight episodes of the first season, provide an exciting deep dive into the series, with exclusive access, behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the cast, showrunners , the executive producers, directors and production team”.
I haven’t had a chance to watch any of this but judging by the trailer it looks really good and I will definitely be watching! I like this sort of thing; I love seeing the process that goes into making these kinds of film and television projects. The feature film segments cover production design, set decoration, costumes, makeup, visual and special effects, stunts, sword fighting, horse riding, and more.
