Netflix has shared an adventurous teaser trailer for the upcoming sci-fi adventure series My father the bounty hunter. The story follows two children who discover their father is an intergalactic bounty hunter and find themselves accompanying him on a wild journey through space.
The film comes from the animation director Everett Downing Jr.who won an Academy Award for his work as co-director of the short film Hair love. Voice cast includes Laz Alonso, Yvonne Orji, Pria Ferguson, Yvette Nicole Brown, JeCobi Swain, Leslie Uggams, Rob Riggle, Jim RashAnd Jamie Chung.
My father the bounty hunter is an animated action-comedy series created for Netflix by Dwarf Animation Studio, “following close-knit siblings Lisa and Sean, who hide out on their father’s latest business trip, hoping to finally spend some quality time together. Little do they know that Dad has been keeping a secret from them: he’s actually the toughest bounty hunter in the galaxy! Embarked on the surprise space adventure of a lifetime, Lisa and Sean discover that their seemingly average father’s job is anything but boring. Dodging dangerous aliens, robots, and laser combat galore, family bonding time becomes much more than they bargained for as they try to help their father in pursuit of his toughest fugitive yet. With his kids on the road, Dad has to show up for them when they need them most, and they better get home before Mum finds out!
This actually looks like a fun show that kids will especially enjoy.My father the bounty hunter will stream on Netflix starting February 9, 2023.
