Santa Claus is coming to town and he’s going to really kick some ass in the next Universal Pictures movie violent night. David Port (Stranger things) assumes the role of Santa Claus, and is ready to fight for a little girl who still strongly believes in Santa Claus when she and her family are taken hostage.
Today, we have a fun new featurette to watch for the film that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the film and includes the cast and crew discussing the funny, violent and heartwarming story it tells. This version of Santa is very different from anything we’ve seen before and I love it!
In the film, “When a team of mercenaries raid a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone hostage, the team isn’t prepared for a surprise fighter: Santa Claus is on the ground and he’s about to show why this Nick isn’t he is a saint.
The film comes from the producers who brought us Nobody, John Wick, Atomic blonde, Deadpool 2, Bullet Train And Hobbs & Shawand is described as a “coal holiday action comedy that says you should always bet on red”.
The film also stars Giovanni Leguizzamo (John Wick), Cam Gigandet (Without Remorse), Alex Hassel (Cowboy bebop), Alexis stronger (Tomorrow’s War), Edi Patterson (The Right Gems), And Beverly D’Angelo (National Lampoon’s Vacation franchise).
The film was directed by Tommy Wirkola (Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, Dead Snowfranchise), and hits theaters December 2!
