Although they have ceased to believe that animated series are created exclusively for children, there are many such productions that are really for children. However, that doesn’t mean an adult can’t enjoy them. But with the titles on this list things are different, they are productions that came out at the right time, and that are still loved now as if it were the first day.
One of the best examples of animated series for children that adults love is ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’, an original production of Nickelodeon, and which has the title of being among the best anime in history, without being Japanese. The story follows Aang, a chosen child who has the power to control the elements and who is on a mission to unite humanity. Available on Netflix.
Batman: The Animated Series
The comic-loving community recently went into mourning over the unfortunate death of Kevin Conroy, who brought the Dark Knight to life in ‘Batman: The Animated Series’, an adult programme, based on the DC character. Bruce Wayne came from a time when comics had storylines focused on all audiences, but it was this title that gave him a darker spin on television. Available on HBO Max.

No matter how many years pass, adults still watch the first seasons of ‘sea sponge’, an animated series made by Nickelodeon, full of great sketches that continue to cause laughter in internet memes. Another of those animated series that were the best at the time was “Samurai Jack”, released in 2001 and created by Genndy Tarkovsky. It’s about a young warrior who is sent to the future, where he must find those responsible to return to the past and, incidentally, repair all the damage he left along the way. Available on HBO Max.
Hi Arnold!
Maybe because they now realize all the teachings that “Hey, Arnold!” they have to go on adventures all over the city. There are even those who continue to ask to see the return of the character in the future. Available on Amazon Prime Video and Claro.
The magical godparents
Finally an animated series for children that has gradually been forgotten, but which part of its charm can still be found if you watch ‘The Fairly OddParents’ again. A series created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon, which lasted 10 seasons on the air, and its last episode was in 2017. Timmy’s adventures with Cosmo and Wanda continue in the hearts of many adults who still remember her. Available on Amazon Prime Video.
