A second trailer for the biopic has been released I want to dance with someone, following the life and career of the incredible singer Whitney Houston. She was so beautiful and a unique voice in her life. She continues to play so many of her songs, and many of them are some of the greatest of all time. I feel this film captures all of the feelings fans have for her music, highlighting her personal struggles, some that were known to the public and some that were kept private during her lifetime.
Naomi Ackie plays Houston in the film, and she is joined by Stanley Tucci, Ashton Sanders, Tamara Tunie, Nafessa WilliamsAnd Clarke Peters.
The film is directed by Kasi Lemmons (Eve is Bayou, Black Nativity, Harriet), from a screenplay by Anthony McCarten, known for writing the popular biopics The theory of everything, The darkest hour, Bohemian RhapsodyAnd The two Popes.
It looks so cool. I want to cry every time I look at him and hear his voice and remember what an absolute powerhouse of a singer and a woman he was. I want to dance with someone will be released in theaters worldwide on December 23, 2022. Check out the trailer below:
