Fan favorite actor Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption, Highlander, Dexter, SpongeBob SquarePants, Daredevil, The Punisher) joins Amazon The boys deductible! He was chosen for the upcoming spin-off series titled Gen V..
The news comes from One Take News, which claims that his role is currently under wraps and that Brown will appear in at least one episode of the spin-off. I just hope he ends up playing a badass villain.
Gen V. stars Jaz Sinclair (The terrifying adventures of Sabrina), Possibility Perdomo (The terrifying adventures of Sabrina), Lizze Broadway (Bone), Shelley Conn (Bridgerton), Maddie Phillips (Bounty hunters teenagers), London Thor (Shameless), Derek Luh (Worth shining), As a German (Caviar), Patrick Schwarzenegger (The ladder), Sean Patrick Thomas (Barber shop), And Marco Pigossi (Invisible city).
The project is inspired by the G-Men, which is a parody of the X-Men in The boys comic series. Set in America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (run by Vought International), Gen V. is an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal and competitive Supes as they test their physical, sexual and moral boundaries, vying for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s partly a university show, partly Hunger games – with all the heart, satire and vulgarity of The boys. “
Gen V. is executive produced by the showrunners Michele Fazekas And Tara ButterS. The executive producers are Eric Kripke, Seth RogenEvan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Craig Rosenberg, Zak Schwartz, Erica Rosbe, Michaela Starr, And Brant Engelstein.
