American broadcaster gives birth live

The extraordinary act of 32-year-old American blogger and streamer Fandy, who gave birth to a child during a live broadcast for the first time in the history of the Twitch platform, is being discussed on the Internet. The online broadcast of the home birth lasted more than eight hours and attracted nearly 40 thousand viewers.

Fandy, who started broadcasting as soon as the contractions started, continued to communicate with subscribers via chat until the birth of her baby. Users supported the girl, sent donations and even voted for the newborn baby’s name. The expectant mother’s photo also included her lover, friends and medical professionals monitoring the process. The birth took place in an inflatable pool and the girl was named Luna.

At the climax of the broadcast was Twitch CEO Dan Clancy, who congratulated Fandy on the birth of her child and wished her family good health. According to the broadcaster, the recording of the broadcast is still available on his channel.

Reactions to such an outspoken publication were mixed. While some users thanked the girl for her courage and the opportunity to see the real process of birth, others found this behavior inappropriate and said that birth was too personal a moment to share with the public. “They don’t know how to attract subscribers at all. We’ve reached the point of having live births,” one commenter wrote.

By the way, we have previously written that the Twilight saga will be broadcast on YouTube for the first time.
