Crazy and hilarious trailer for DEAD TO ME Season 3 and Christina Applegate opens up about her diagnosis

Netflix has released a new trailer for season 3 of the dark drama Dead to mehero Cristina Applegate And Linda Cardellini. The show is about a woman named Jen (Applegate), who goes into a bereavement group after her husband’s death, and meets a woman named Judy (Cardellini), who ends up becoming her beacon in the dark and at the end her best friend. As we learned in the first two seasons, Judy has some dark secrets, but as they unfold, their bond deepens and they face the darkness in both of their lives with humor and unwavering dedication to one another.

The new season picks up where we left off with a buried secret, car accident, and other troubles on the way. The cast also includes James Marsden, Luca Rossler, Sam McCarthy, Brandon Scott, Diana Maria RivaAnd Garret Dillahunt.

This third season was delayed when Christina Applegate received a multiple sclerosis diagnosis during the summer of 2021 while filming the series. Production was stopped for about five months when she started treatment for the autoimmune disease affecting the central nervous system. She recently met with the New York Times to explain what that trial was like, saying:

“There was a feeling of, ‘Well, let’s give her some medicine so she can get better. And it doesn’t get any better. But it was good for me. I needed to process my loss of my life, my loss of that part of me. So I needed that time. “

She went on to talk about how Netflix offered her an exit after her diagnosis.

And while Applegate said finishing the series was the hardest thing he ever did, the crew and Cardellini, in particular, supported and supported her the entire time.
