
Fans are getting excited about Community: The film, after all these years of waiting since the end of the series. It’s finally happening, and one of the stars of the show, Joel McHale he’s giving fans a little tease about how it feels to reunite with his co-stars and how the script has gone beyond the cast.
In a recent interview with The Wrap while appearing at the Saturn Awards, McHale was asked about the film and joked at first:
“We’ve shot all three of them so far. We shot him in New Zealand. Peter Jackson was the director. We shot him in The Shire. I was much shorter and it’s happening.
He continued to take the project seriously, saying:
“We have announced it. Peacock is paying for it, thanks Peacock, “the comedian continued.” So yeah, it’s happening and everyone’s back. “
Asked about reuniting with the cast, which he currently includes Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Jim Rash, And Ken JeongMcHale put his sarcasm aside to express how emotional the moment really was:
“I will look a lot older. I’m not kidding, so you know I’m sarcastic about literally fucking everything except there will be tears. We read that table during the pandemic and then I cried like a baby and I’m not kidding ”.
“Everyone thinks what I say is joking, but it’s like being with – it’s really like a family reunion but without holes. Because you know, you go to a family and say, ‘Ugh, there’s that cousin of mine. He stinks.’ So anyway, we’re really … I can’t wait. Yes, that’s all I can say. “
