Um, so Netflix has officially announced it The sorcerer has been renewed for a fourth season, but here’s the thing … Henry Cavill will not return as Geralt of Rivia. The main character of the series will now be played by Liam Hemsworthand as a fan of the show, I feel confused and conflicted.
Cavill is one of the main reasons The Witcher is so damn awesome! Honestly, I don’t see the point of continuing the show without him. I just don’t see Hemsworth in this role and I wish Netflix had just finished it.
Hemsworth is best known for starring in the Hunger Games franchise and recently starred in the Quibi drama The most dangerous game. It is so strange that he was the one who replaced Cavill. No reason is given as to why Cavill left, but I guess maybe she will focus her attention and his attention on his Superman sequel?
Cavill said: “My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been filled with both monsters and adventures, and alas, I will lay down my locket and swords for season 4. I may have some big boots to fill, but I’m really excited to enter the world of The Witcher. “
