The tarokka deck for Dungeons & DragonsRavenloft’s setting doesn’t get much love and use. However, Erin Tierney created five subclasses based on this deck in Aspects of fate. I really like this idea. Four of the subclasses represent one of the four suits and then the fifth is for the whole deck.
Aspects of Fate is a book of 5 subclasses based on Ravenloft’s tarokka deck. Includes:
The Seeknight Fighter, a fighter archetype representing the suit of swords.
The wizard of Cartomancy, a school of wizards representing the seed of the stars.
The rogue Kismet, a rogue subclass representing the coin suit.
The cleric of the Omen Domain, a divine domain of the cleric that represents the seed of the glyphs.
The sorcerer of destiny, a sorcerer patron who represents the deck as a whole.
