
Michael Doughertythe classic 2009 Halloween movie Trick or treat is finally hitting theaters this Halloween season and, once again, there is a lot of talk about whether the sequel will finally be made. We just have to wait and see if something comes out.
While we wait for that sequel to be developed, there is actually a new one Trick or treat story that comes in the form of a comic that will be included in the Trick ‘r Treat 15th Anniversary Omnibus Collectionwhich is made available on Kickstarter.
This special edition features the original Trick or treat adaptation of the film’s graphic novel, “which has four evocatively illustrated horror stories intertwined on an unforgettable Halloween night as the creepy figure known as Sam visits an unsuspecting community.”
It is also present Trick and Treat: Days of the Dead, the graphic novel sequel that features Sam on a journey back through the history of Halloween. “Discover the old world lovers whose romance takes a chilling turn and the Western pioneers who discover the dark side of the frontier. He travels to 1950s Los Angeles for a story of pure horror noir and into the heart of a small American town to see some pranksters teach a lesson they will never forget.
Additionally, “This exclusive edition of Kickstarter features a completely new and unpublished story from creator Michael Dougherty, a new Zid cover and deluxe omnibus sleeve, all of which WILL NOT be available in retail.”
